Description
A popular modification in Europe for years now, these airboxes provide a larger, more free flowing intake and plenum, thus improving your M's power, throttle response, under bonnet appearance and engine note.
Made from 100% pre preg carbon fibre, at 2.25 Kgs this airbox offers a significant weight reduction over the OEM plenums.
Designed specifically for the Z4M with extended intake neck and reshaped top plenum area so as to clear the OEM chssis reinforcement bars; apart from this the internal design is almost identical to the OEM E46 M3 CSL airbox to ensure the best possible results (after all BMW spent tens of thousands of Euros developing the CSL airbox so why change it more than absolutely necessary ?).
Typically this type of "CSL-style" air box is used without the factory standard Mass Airflow Meter (MAF) and with the car's software being converted and mapped to Alpha N protocols.
This kit includes :
- Carbon Airbox
- Silicone connectors
- Air filter

NOTE : Dyno charts shows power increase of + 32 bhp , measured on 2004 E46 M3 with Eisenmann rear exhaust, Crest carbon airbox and software.
