Description
Under forced induction use, the original MAF from BMW cannot read high enough air flow values for reliable use at high load. The MAP conversion is a simple, cheap and reliable alternative which takes less than 10 minutes to convert to.

Unlike with earlier versions of this kit, you now have no need to open the ECU and solder and de-solder certain pins - everything is “plug and play” and can easily be returned to standard at a later date if required.

Please note: This conversion can currently only be used with the Siemens MS43 ECU (standard for most M54 engines).
You will need to tune the engine ECU after fitting this kit.
If you choose not to use the MAP sensor mount, note that the sensor needs to receive pressure reference from the manifold itself - it cannot be mounted downstream from the throttle body.

What’s included:

-MAF to MAP conversion loom (plug in and forget - no soldering required)
-Genuine Bosch MAP sensor
-DISA blanking plate with MAP sensor mount (fits all M54B30 intake manifolds - check the diameter of the DISA hole if you’re using an M54B28, B25 or B22 manifold before ordering)
-Step-by-step instructions for completing the conversion (you will have to move some pins inside the ECU box, but do not have to open the ECU housing itself.)
-Works for both forced induction and normally aspirated builds
