This item are custom hand made in real DRY carbon fibre laminate, usually pre- preg, using vacuumed process. We do NOT offer the inferior and cheaper wet - lay carbon that many others do. Consequently our parts are more expensive than many, but far better quality and longevity, with NO QUIBBLE guarantee !

We can also combine with other listed carbon trims to form a package at discounted overall cost.

All models and trim variations catered for, generic photo shown here may differ slightly from your actual required item, but the finished product will be the exact correct one for your car, Left or Right hand drive applications. Please specify your exact model when ordering.

These parts are also made using the GENUINE OEM part as the core, so feel and fitment is as perfect as is physically possible.

The quoted cost here is for the carbon lamination process, the cost of the core part itself is in addition, you can supply this yourself or we can often get good condition second hand (used) items at extra cost, feel free to enquire.

The increased height of the MS79 knob means that the shifter is positioned closer to the steering wheel. This allows the driver to make quicker shifts and focus more on steering input. The Rogue Engineering Delrin Shift knob is the perfect companion for your manual transmission BMW! Designed for those who need fast access to the shift knob (close to the steering wheel), the smooth 1.6" diameter ball top fits easy in your hand with or without driving gloves on.

Some features of the Delrin Shift knob include:

- 4.375" in total height (compared to 3" tall for a ZHP knob)
- Smooth, CNC machined Delrin shift knob fits in many hand sizes, with or without gloves.
- 125g in weight (vs. 155g of weighted ZHP knob).
- Delrin is less prone to retaining heat, unlike all aluminium knobs in a hot car in the summertime. Ouch!
- Easy installation, with 2.5" allen key

Although it uses 3 set screws to attach to BMW compatible shift levers, this is NOT a universal knob! The ID of the aluminium based has been designed to be very close to the factory size to eliminate play when installed.

Note that a shift boot that is not integrated into the shift knob is required for a clean installation of this knob.

The "hood" design at the base of each component wraps over the leather booth for a very finished, highline-style look.

The RK5 knob is available either with the standard black BMW-style insert or with a deep inlay shift pattern in "BMW blue" (matches the hood/trunk badge) cast beneath a durable clear covering.
