COMPETITION INTERCOOLER KIT BMW F80-82-83 M3/M4

The 3.0L S55B30 turbo engine from BMW M3/M4 models is equipped with an indirect charge-air cooling circuit. So the cooling of the charged air is realised by a water cooled intercooler which will be replaced by this Wagner Tuning high-performance intercooler.

The WAGNER TUNING high-performance intercooler has got a new competition core (Tube Fin) with the external core dimensions 287 mm x 185 mm x 115 mm / 11,3Inch x 7,3Inch x 4,5Inch. This intercooler core was directly developed for the high requirements of the BMW M3/M4 and offers 114 % more external core volume compared to the stock intercooler. The calculated ratio between the inner and outer cooling surface generates a maximum heat transfer and at the same time the best possible internal air flow. The aluminium cast end tanks were designed in CAD and optimised in CFD simulations. The result is an excellent cooling property with a minimal back pressure. That`s why this kit is perfect for racing use. An optimal cooling effect of the charged air with a significant increase in performance!

All WAGNER TUNING radiators are equipped with a heat-conductive anti corrosion coating to ensure a lasting cooling effect. The plug & play installation of the system is simple and easy to perform (an installation instruction is included as well).
