High flow / high performance air filters that simply replace the factory original versions within the factory airbox.

PERFORMANCE
BMC air filters are designed and produced to ensure a higher air flow than original paper filters. In F1, for example, BMC cotton filters minimize the loss of air flow pressure passing through the air filter; this way ensures the best conditions for full exploitation of maximum power. Therefore the benefits of replacing the original paper filter with BMC cotton air filter, produced using the same technology and materials as the F1 air filters, are evident.

DESIGN AND MATERIALS
Qualified engineers using advanced software and expert technicians using the latest technologies produce BMC air filters. An F1 filter must be very light, must be made of the best raw materials and must improve performance. For this reason we use only alloy mesh with epoxy coating to ensure protection from petrol fumes and from oxidization due to the humidity of the air. The filtering material is composed of a special cotton gauze soaked with low-viscosity oil to give you the best air permeability.

ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY
BMC technical staff has developed a particular production system based on soft rubber moulding which produces the familiar BMC red filters. They are made in one single piece with no welded joints in the corners, thus avoiding breaking risks. This system, called "Full Moulding" comes from R&D in F1 and it is significant of BMC air filters' technical and quality specifics.

The development of the S54 intake system started in early 2014 with preliminary tests carried out on 4 individual cars. Some cars were stock, others had performance parts fitted.

Our aim was to bring a high quality kit to the market with the REAL results. After many months of development we are happy to announce the Eventuri Intake System for the S54 engine which meets our design brief and provides genuine improvement not just in peak power but in throttle response and smoothness.

The Eventuri Difference

The Eventuri system uses our unique Carbon fibre Housing which provides an aerodynamically efficient airflow path from the filter to the MAF tube. Most intake systems use a cone filter with a type of shroud as a heat shield. Here the filter is doing the job of shaping the airflow to the MAF tube and this is where restrictions arise. In the Eventuri system, the filter is inverted and decoupled from the MAF tube - the carbon housing itself dictates the shape of the airflow by smoothly reducing in diameter from the filter to the MAF tube. Here - the entire carbon fibre housing is a Venturi where the airflow increases in velocity as the cross sectional area smoothly reduces. As this is essentially a large funnel - the airflow remains laminar and therefore minimises the drag of the system.

The result is an immediate improvement in throttle response, smoother power delivery and more power across the rpm range - not just at the peak. Furthermore - this intake releases the engine note for a more pronounced induction roar under full throttle.

Made from 100% prepreg carbon fibre of the highest quality, the workmanship on the housing is second to none. This is mated to an anodised aluminum inlet cowl to ensure a smooth inlet flow path. Finally the assembly is then mated to an aluminium heat shield which effectively shrouds the intake from engine bay heat and encapsulates the ambient air being diverted from the scoop. Also notice the rubber spacer on the mount of the heat shield - this is for the headlight module to sit on so that it remains at the right height - small details are important!

he MAF tube is CNC machined from aluminum and then anodised. The MAF boss itself is machined from an engineering plastic to minimise the heat soak into the sensor through conduction. We have incorporated a machined recess on one side to allow the OEM rubber gasket from the stock airbox to be used for a perfect seal into the stock elbow.

There are 3 aluminium heat shields, all with neoprene lining. The main shield is part of the intake assembly as above. There is then an extension shield which fits onto the main shield and blocks hot air from the radiator. The last shield secure to the chassis underneath the carbon housing to minimise direct heat soak from the block. We used neoprene to insulate the shields for optimum function in keeping IAT's as low as possible.

100% Prepreg carbon fibre with a CNC machined collar - the air scoop directs ambient air directly into the filter opening. This scoop simply clicks into place in the front right hand brake duct and effectively saturates the mouth of the intake with ambient air. It also allows airflow through the duct for the brakes. The scoop is so effective that even after a hard drive, the aluminium cowl at the mouth of the intake will still feel cold to touch!

This scoop is also a standalone part and can be used with any CSL style airbox or even the stock airbox to bring IAT's down faster.

The PSDesigns Headlight Duct Kit has been designed to work with all intake systems. The kit replaces the main-beam bowl of the OEM headlight on Pre-Facelift E46’s, E46M3’s and M3 CSL’s, this kit includes all the required components to convert the standard headlight to a ducted version, including a specifically designed canbus error deletion resistor (no error lights on the dash board).

The Duct provides a fresh supply of cold air to the induction system/engine bay. The duct also gives a very aggressive yet subtle visual enhancement to the front end of the vehicle. The ducts can be produced for either side of the vehicle (left hand or right hand), so could be used to help cool ignition coils for example with the correct ducting from a duct in the right hand headlight.

This kit requires cutting of the Main Beam Headlight Bowl and headlight lens , this is covered in the provided instructions.

This kit allows for the simple fitment of an air inlet temperature sensor. Usually the air temperature is read by the MAF sensor, unfortunately the sensor is prone to ‘heat soak’, causing incorrect readings which decrease performance.

By relocating the temperature sensor this allows for more accurate readings – this is also required when running an AlphaN map in conjunction with a CSL airbox or Our Velocity Stack Conversion (this is included with our Velocity Stack Kit, see our other listings for details.)

Improve the performance of your E46 M3 with the Rogue Engineering Performance Intake Boot. Made from high quality, 4-ply silicone, it removes the turbulent ribs of the factory plastic elbow and smoothes the air intake path to the intake manifold.

The E46 M3 boot fits 2001-06 E46 M3 (US and Euro, NOT CSL). It does not fit the MZ4 Coupe or Roadster.

The E46 M3 intake boot includes replacement clamps, as the factory ones are not large enough to fit around the larger OD of the replacement elbow.

These throttle bodies have a +1.5mm larger bore than factory versions, offering approx 12% more volumetric flow at 7000 rpm.

Ideal as part of a larger tuning package (either naturally aspirated or force inducted) or as a standalone upgrade. ECU remapping is recommended for best results.

S54 enthusiasts that are after that infamous M3 CSL intake roar, but aren't willing to undertake the hurdles associated with installing the CSL carbon airbox and Alpha N software need not look any further. By combining Karbonius' new OEM Style Carbon Airbox with Eventuri's tried and true S54 Black Carbon Intake System, you're ensured as close to a CSL airbox sound and performance without the involved install, additional parts, wiring, and tuning. This is especially beneficial to Z4M owners as the car used a completely different ECU than the E46 M3 so therefore a complete CSL conversion with MAP and IAT sensors along with intake flap control was near impossible.

NOTE: E85 / E86 Z4M Package does NOT include the lower carbon intake scoop and instead comes with the red kidney grille duct. The E46 M3 SMG package includes a genuine CSL SMG reservoir with bracket.
