UUC E36/Z3 FRONT SUBFRAME REINFORCEMENT KIT

fits: 1992-1999 E36 M3/328/325/323/318 Z3

This kit is designed to repair and/or strengthen the front subframe mounting ears around the engine mount bushing attachment points. Weakening, cracking, and eventual failure occurs as a result of mileage or hard use. Strengthening of this area is critical not only for safe operation in a street car, but also for optimum performance in a track or race car.

Note: installation of this kit does require welding and access to the underside of the car.

E36 REAR SWAYBAR REINFORCEMENT KIT

Fits: 1992-1999 all E36 M3/328/325/323/318 ( except Ti/Compact models)

This kit is designed to strengthen the rear swaybar mounting brackets on the subframe. Weakening, cracking, and eventual failure occurs as a result of mileage or hard use. Strengthening of this area is critical not only for safe operation in a street car, but also for optimum performance in a track or race car.

The StrutBarbarian is available for all 1992-1999 E36 3-series 6-cylinder models (including M3 and Euro or S54 engine swaps).

Several features make the UUC Motorwerks Barbarian strut tower brace unique:

Aluminium alloy bar construction and steel end plates (grade 12.9 steel bolts) for very important reasons:

a) Strength: the StrutBarbarian bar section is truly a structural reinforcement for the shock tower section of the chassis.
b) Light weight: the entire StrutBarbarian weighs approximately 5.0lbs (compare to other bars upwards of 10lbs.+)

The Barbarian uses no pivots or heim joints. To resist bending and torsion, those design elements are avoided.

Open top design allows access to adjustable suspension components.

Precision construction. In order to accurately produce a bar with very tight tolerances, we do not weld any portion of the StrutBarbarian assembly. Welding can compromise the structural integrity of the material and its metallurgical characteristics as well as introduce warping from the heat. By using computer numerically controlled (CNC) laser cutting and manufacturing techniques, we're assured that the bar fits perfectly every time.

Quality materials. The entire assembly is constructed in the USA of premium aircraft-grade aluminum alloy and steel with stainless steel hardware for continuous high-performance service without fear of surface or material degradation over time. All parts are powder coated for appearance. Stainless steel acorn nuts are provided for all six strut bearing studs and all four bar mounting studs.
You are assured that this is the best possible product at any price, at any cost. By using massive overkill engineering, we have ensured that the StrutBarbarian left nothing to compromise.
